Greetings All

Inspired by Unreal Tournament and the original Unreal Championship 2, I'm proud to present the latest in Liandri Corporation Tournament Weaponry. I've been an Unreal fan since the very first, and after seeing the concept design for the Unreal Championship 2 (UC2) Assault rifle concept (though never played UC2), I fell in love with the weapon's shape and style. This led to me building something similar and in light of this great looking weapon.

This is the AR-35 Tarydium Assault Rifle.


The AR-35 is built in a Bullpup configuration making the weapon more accurate and easier to handle due the mechanics of the weapon situated at the back end of the weapon, and thus balancing weapon weight on the pivot point of the user's shoulder. The AR-35 Fires a high velocity 7.62mm refined Tarydium shard that is in-cased in a Carborite Nano-weave Shell, to increase penetration on armored targets. Included is a high capacity 90 round cartridge for maximum combat efficiency. The shell is specially designed to give as little friction as possible parted together with the twisted barrel to increase bullet projection and velocity.

The AR-35 comes also equipped with the XM-25 Tarydium Grenade launcher. Firing a standard 40mm grenade, upon contact the Tarydium explodes in a volatile and toxic gas filled with nanites that melts any surface, non-armored and armored, as well as shielded. The XM-25 is paired with a 5 round cartridge for decent effectiveness in combat.

Included is also night sights which increases accuracy in darker areas and at night. Easy reloading is accomplished with an auto-loader built into both ammo cartridges. Upon inserting the cartridge it will automatically load the weapon and ready itself for combat. The AR-35 has the three standard firing modes, Semi-Auto, Full Auto, and Burst Fire. Capable of firing up 800 rounds per minute, the AR-35 is the next step in infantry weaponry.

The AR-35 also comes with the ability of being customized to fit the needs of the situation the user is in. This means, the top carry bar can be removed and exchanged with the standard RT-720 Acog Scope or the LM-95 16x Scope for long range firing and maximum precision.

Hopefully the first of many weapons to come, I've been wanting to move a bit away from vehicles and focus on other subjects such as weapons. Meant as a concept weapon, this in no way represents the original concept designed for UC2.

Not at the moment, but I am in the process of rendering some animations which will show that specific area better as well as how the weapon works with reloading firing etc. I'm still planning on making all the addons for the weapon's top handle which can be swaped with 2 other addons.
